Another very close night with Nine ahead by just 0.1 . Nine was up slightly and Seven down slightly on last week while 10 posted its highest Tuesday share of this year’s survey – that’s the third consecutive night that 10 has posted a highest daily share of the year.

News numbers were below one million after last week’s high then ACA had another win at 7pm. After that 10’s line up took over with MasterChef posting its second highest audience of the season while The Cheap Seats recorded the same audience as last week’s season high.

Elsewhere, Celebrity Apprentice was up slightly with Big Brother down slightly.

Meanwhile Bluey’s morning broadcast snuck into the top 20.

From 10 re the Socceroos V Peru at 4am

  • #1 in its timeslot.
  • #1 in its timeslot in under 50s and all key demos.
  • 36,000 live stream viewers on 10 Play.

Is beating infomercials such a big achievement for 10 that they feel the need to tout the World Cup Qualifier was number 1 in its time slot at 4 am rather than give a viewership figure?

It will be interesting to see the peaking audience for the World Cup qualifier, given many people would have seen what was happening via the breakfast shows (at least in the eastern states) and switched to 10 for the penalty shootout.

As did the evening replay. It’s only a matter of time that the morning broadcast reached 500,000 mark.

I can’t post the number which was given by 10 due to OzTAM rules. It ran for over 3 hours and was up against News at 5am and breakfast shows from 5.30am. It outrated Sunrise Early (6am) and Today Early plus Sunrise and Today at 5.30am plus Seven and Nine Early News.

Yeah it certainly isn’t.

Given channel 10 paid decent money for socceroos and matildas rights (in addition to the A League) I would suggest a sudden death WCQ getting numbers they won’t even tout is really disappointing

10 did post the numbers but we can’t post them here due to OzTAM.

Well, I can’t find it on a relatively quick search.

Obviously under a bushel somewhere

Just gotta look harder. It would place in the top 8 of multichannel.

The figure is on TV Tonight, not sure why OzTam allows it to be posted on that site but not here? Makes zero sense.

Nine won Sydney and Brisbane with Seven ahead in AFL territory. 10 won the key demos - network and main channel plus 10 Peach was the top multichannel in the demos.

Sunrise won breakfast 30,000 ahead of Today that was 15,000 ahead of News Breakfast.

Sunrise’s numbers continue to track lower and are around their lowest so far this year.

Compared to Tuesday 15 June 2021 - Sunrise is down 40,000, Today down 9,000 and News B just 2,000. So the gap between the commercials is closer than last year.
