Looks like those people on social media who last week said they wouldn’t be back for the second episode of Seachange were true to their word with episode 2 down 250,000 from the launch. The Block is down slightly from last week while Survivor lifts to its highest audience since the launch episode.

Interview finishes on a season high helping Seven to win the night - nationally and all markets except Sydney.

In the news area - Seven News was at roughly normal levels for a Tuesday while Nine’s bulletin recorded its lowest Tuesday since before Easter with markets outside Sydney seeing big audience drops.

Great finish to season 2 of Interview. Hope it gets a third season.
Dogs Behaving (Very) Badly dipped from last week’s debut.

Survivor continues its strong run. Comparing this to some episodes of Masterchef on Tuesday where it was getting below 600k. This is a great result for 10.

I was never interested in Seachange , so I’m not entirely surprised that its ratings have plummeted. I have a feeling that Halifax will have a similar outcome.
The Block is declining, albeit slowly. Lazy programming done to death.

The Block beaten by Survivor in Melbourne - very interesting.

Survivor for some reason not taking off in Sydney…

Crappy lead in hinders it in Sydney.

:face_with_raised_eyebrow:

The jump from The Project to Survivor is 61k in Sydney and 100k+ in Melbourne. Can’t just be the lead-in.

Apart from echoing a number of comments already above

A bad night for 9Life, beaten by ABC News channel and close to SBS Viceland and new SBS World Movies which again had a good night. 7flix dropping recent Tuesday and Wednesday schedule(s) looks to be paying off with jumps to over 2%.

A smaller jump from a smaller start. Makes sense to me.

I am not sure this comment is accurate. Its the 8th show of the night in Sydney and 7th overall. Seems pretty standard.

Its struggling more in Adelaide than Sydney.

It’s well down on Melbourne and well down v The Block.

You can’t really compare thing to Melbourne. A different lifestyle, different weather etc.

Ratings article includes afternoon news coverage. Also, Nine won 25-54 and 18-49. 10 won 16-39 and was second in 18-49.

Sydney always prefers The Block and in particular Nine. Each market seems to have a preference for different types of programming.

When Ten and (to a lesser extent) Seven has neglected the market for years, it’s probably not too hard to understand why the Sydneysiders who watch FTA TV go for Nine!

Dissappointing Dogs are rating higher for Seven than what it deserves. It also shows the state they are in for that slot since they consider it acceptable (and it tastes better than their previous realities at this time of year)

It is still getting lower than AGT, House Rules etc and its demos don’t seem flash either. So I doubt 7 can justify having it as a solution for future years.

Survivor is holding its own. Doing better than what Masterchef was doing, not setting the world on fire but should be keeping 10 satisfied.
