Nine continues its winning streak with another easy Tuesday win. Without much competition from 10 at 7.30, Nine lifted by 2 points as 10 was down 2. Seven and ABC, however, also lost share week-on-week. Nine won all markets except Perth where Seven was +12 points clear of Nine.

The Block saw a small increase in audience from the previous week. SAS: Australia, however, dropped 70,000 to a new season low. 10’s best was The Project with post 7.30 programming missing the top 20. Ambulance Australia was 22nd and new NCIS: Los Angeles just 44th.

Australian Crime Stories did well for Nine.

Good night for 10 Peach and 9Life.

What happened to 7mate’s Highway Patrol?

Not a great result for SAS, no growth compared with Monday’s episode on a much more competitive night.

SAS didn’t benefit from lesser competition, dropping to a new season low. The strong VPM ratings for the show suggest that some viewers prefer to watch the unedited version on 7plus later.

9Life beat both 9Go and 9GEM.

I think 7 could do very well next year if they can find another 7:30 realty to finish by 8:45 and could follow it up with SAS unedited.
It’s demos are there and doing much stronger than the last 4/5 years of other attempts.

Interesting changes overall though as it seemed like a multichannel turn on night.

Perhaps they could schedule SAS unedited in the Thursday 8pm slot, after the double episode of Home and Away?

Following the conclusion of Junior Masterchef, Channel 10’s primetime share has dipped last night.
The Block bounced back from the previous night, helping Nine win. Nine has won 5 straight nights and is set to win tonight thanks to State of Origin NRL.

Too weak a lead in, total people and demos I reckon.

10 Peach also did well in the demos where it was number one multi channel - even outrating SBS’s main channel.
