Triple M are advertising for an Operations/announcer role for Brisbane (which includes a music shift into Sydney) unfortunately that means Sydney will still remain without a music announcer.

the rock has played some absolute bangers at the moment. if this is reflective of the playlist when they launch MMM should be worried. everything from more well-known songs like enter sandman to more forgotten ones like Youth of the nation by P.O.D. and even some old school classics - they played pinball wizard by the who the other night

Just taking a listen into the simulcast of the Seven Commonwealth Games coverage.
So far sounds like Triple M is going to be running their own ad breaks instead of the ones on Seven, with it’s own openers and imaging, although the timing on the first break was quite out, crashing in nearly a minute late.
All in all indicating there is possibly at least a panel operator stationed somewhere.

Yeah, would be the same setup as for stations that simulcast news bulletins I guess.

Wonder if he’ll heard into Sydney too, when he’s filled in they’ve opted to voice track Al Dobie who’s on air at the same time on Triple M Gold.
The role did specify that the applicant would be heard into Sydney.
