They used to have a bumper before any song with offensive language warning of the upcoming naughty words. I’m sure it wasn’t used too liberally, I think we all but accept words like shit etc are part of common vernacular not requiring forewarning, but songs with things like the f-word and the like would get some warning.

I’m not trying to be a wowzer here, but it just appears a change of practice. Interestingly, on practice, the new ACMA rules that cover school time listening seemingly only apply to commercial radio - perhaps a missed opportunity to extend these to national networks as well?
