Roz Kelly is the favourite to replace Alex Cullen, according to Annette Sharp’s column today.
Second most favoured is said to be Clint Stanaway, followed by former Today EP Neil Breen, and Tony Jones (with a suggestion that his ability to attract clickbait would be good publicity for the show).
It can’t be Clint. He has NOVA and WT. So he’s fine.

What about Jess Fox? She’s filled in for Alex before
Why can’t they bring Tim Gilbert back. He’s passionate about sport just like Cullen. He’s a truly natural funny aussie bloke. Such a shame for Nine and Today Show that they sacked Tim in January 2019.
This means she would need to be replaced as the Friday-Saturday sports presenter on Nine News Sydney, and as host of Wide World of Sports, though I wouldn’t rule out Kelly doing a six-day working week like Deb Knight did when she co-hosted Today with Georgie Gardner, and presented Nine News Sydney on Friday and Saturday nights, in 2019.
She still has her professional canoeing career, so unless she announces her immediate retirement from the sport, then that’s a no.
Roz is too good for Today.
They need to officially address the Alison and Sophie situation sooner rather than later.
Yeah idk why we need to wait for the teasing and suspense announcement of the rotation of presenters.
They need a official announcement from them right now.
