You should refrain from posting as fact rather than speculation, otherwise people will question legitimate sources of information posted on this site. You have form in this area as illustrated in the Today thread on 26/12. ---

What I “confirmed” is that Pete is permanently returning to Weekend Today. I can remove the other thing if you want. @lepatron, as for the thing about Lara, turns out I was right about my interpretation of Lara Insta post, in that she will be reading the news until Friday 19th Jan because Sylvia will be co-hosting. ---

Well if you are “confirming” Pete as permanent host I think it would be a nice idea to state your source, to avoid all of the confusion. Because, again, your still stating things as fact but you aren’t providing any evidence. Who told you this information? If nobody did then it’s SPECULATION and ASSUMPTION based only on your opinion. You need to back up your statements. ---

But again, your just assuming Lara is on until the 19th? For all you know Allison (for example) could be on this Monday to present news for 2 weeks and then heading off to Weekend Today. You don’t know so please stop it. You don’t know that Lara is going to stay until Sylvia is back on news. ---

Of course, at the same time we do have sources from inside networks that we do know and trust to provide accurate information or hints. @lexington and @Read_It_First etc for example. ---

I’m starting to wonder if Today will actually relaunch on Jan 22. Could it possibly be just Georgie and Karl returning to the show? Has anyone actually said they planned on changing it up with a new look? ---

I know Brekky Central is super popular around here but Sunrise’s set is so much nicer and fresh than Today’s.
