Quite right. Repeating it here is not going to make it happen.
I’m sure it’s already a possibility for 9 but its a big commitment and it takes time.

if anything I reckon such production would not start until mid-year at the absolute earliest. Hot Seat continues to rate well on the East Coast and I can’t see it being shelved in the long-term.
I Suppose Tonight’s airing might be an Historic Moment of the Program when £20,000 is won!!!
Did they win with the double counter?
Today’s Episode saw the £20,000 Went off for the First Time, it aired in the UK in January 2020.
I like the quiz element but the actual tipping point machine is so mindless. It’s psychologically addictive in the way poker machines are. Also the UK host is overly polite which I find annoying. Who would host an Australian version? Eddie McGuire? Grant Denyer?
Neither would be better. They should have somebody completely new.
Speaking of Tipping Point, there’s a repeated episode of it airing on 9Gem at 7.30pm. Same goes for next Thursday also. Not sure of the reasoning there.
Testing the waters for a primetime commission?
Testing the waters for a primetime commission?
100%
Didn’t they do this once before on a weekend?
Correct, IIRC they aired some Saturday episodes back at the start of the year. So I don’t think this is testing waters for primetime then. Probably just filling a gap in the schedule if Nine think it will rate decently.
Yes, they aired it on Nine on a Saturday night earlier in the year. I think this is the first i’ve seen it on Gem though in primetime.
Not sure of Nine’s reasoning earlier in the year, but am also assuming that Gem is doing it kist as a filler.

Now out of this and next week’s Thursday schedules. Replaced by Death in Paradise. Might suggest how well it rated
No news here regarding Tipping Point, but just to say that it has been popping up in the top 20 in the Television Ratings quite regularly in recent months, particularly later in the week. Quite an achievement for an afternoon UK game show. Perth airs the show at 4pm (with Hot Seat at 3pm), while the rest of the country has it at 3pm (Adelaide has Hot Seat at 4pm).
I know that Hot Seat rates well on the East Coast and are calling out for contestants and studio audience, so we wont see changes there (yet…), but could Tipping Point work at 4pm nationally and even get a bigger number?
Also, the show gets repeated at after midnight Monday to Thursday, but why does Friday’s arvo episode air after midnight ona Saturday night rather than on Friday night? Its been happening for a while now.
Tipping Point work at 4pm nationally
So what will happen with the afternoon news?
Air it at 3pm in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. While Perth and Adelaide can air it at 5pm in its current space.

I would just get rid of Hot Seat and make an Aussie Tipping Point at 5pm
Is it that easy?
On today’s episode of Tipping Point, during the final round there was a question asked about which of the Chasers from The Chase appeared as a celebrity contestant on The X Factor.
Is the late night episode a repeat of the episode shown during the day? If so, it was a fantastic episode yesterday.
