Oh, you’re talking about the UK. Well, that’s a complete different TV culture. You just don’t get masses of Aussies staying home to watch FTA in Australia on a Saturday night.
True but people said that about celeb starting early last year… And then again this year. People don’t watch 10 on Saturdays because 10 show 4 hours of encores of shows that already rate low on first run.
I wouldn’t expect numbers like last night but something to ponder for 2/3 weeks a year.
While Home and Away is a bit low, its at least pushing 100k online (for total Australia)
I know it wasn’t a great final, but those BBL cricket ratings are pretty poor. I guess competition from tennis and Celeb already firmly set?
I agree they should have it on weekends. They could be shorter episodes and don’t necessarily have to have the live elements with Chris & Julia etc and can show other stuff that was missed during the week. The fact is the UK can go 7 nights a week for Celeb and BB so theres not reason we can’t. 10 need something to get people watching on a Saturday and it might bring sme viewers over.
Great idea for Nine to have MAFS start the day after Tennis. We will most likely see consistent Sunday to Wednesday wins for Nine again.
