Deal consistently rated below 300k at 6pm. It’s move to 7pm saw +300k for the first 3 days; It also seemed to take viewers away from HandA. Thursday’s drop might be attributed to competition from AFL.

Suggests DOND has benefitted.

Having said that, one easy option to consider would be to swap DOND back to 6pm and give 10 News+ the old Project timeslot of 6.30-7.30pm.

I mean, I was always in the ‘give it time’ boat and I certainly welcome this type of new format, but heck, I wasn’t expecting it to sink to that.

You don’t really get to play the ‘time’ card at 6pm with 150k viewers. Give to a month then simply warehouse it if it doesn’t improve.

If it was hovering in the 200s then you can give it time…

They’ll have to persist with this for a while. They’ve got nothing else and need the local quota and it’s massively cheaper than what was there. It will take a while maybe even 10 years.

They just need a couple of big exclusives to get audience trying it out. It’s not a bad program.

Well they chose the wrong hosts to start with. Neither are seasoned newsreaders and neither make you think of news “authority”, if that’s the style of bulletin they were aiming for.

How long until we see Denham Hitchcock and Amelia Brace appear on Deal or No Deal to boost up their ratings (like Sandra Sully on Monday - and the other random celebrity versions on the 30 minute show).

Poor numbers for the Kim Kardashian Special.

A big night for Nine and the tennis. Mixed numbers sadly for the NRWL though.

It’s getting worse by the day. There’s no coming back from this.

Or… swap 10 News and 10 News+?

Network 10 needs to urgently rethink its 6pm lineup. Launching a full hour of serious current affairs in the early evening was always going to be a disaster.

Perhaps trim 10News+ to 30 minutes, move Deal or No Deal to 6:30pm, and shift reality programming forward to the 7pm slot.

10 have dropped the ball badly.

And they have zero chemistry.

Must be too woke yeah?

Well when you subject the audience to such nonsense for many years they simply leave and don’t come back.

Not just project woke nonsense.

On the non woke front, they destroyed Ten News 15 years ago. The audience left, and have not returned.

Not to the same numbers, nobody is getting the same numbers they were 15 years ago, but they are returning at 5pm. Local news is king there.

Sorry it’s the network that’s “too woke” I forgot.
