The Chase Australia won all markets except Sydney, who turned to Hot Seat.

Seven’s multichannels helped the network to its first Thursday win in 3 weeks while Nine’s main channel was the number one channel.

Seven won the AFL states with Nine ahead in Sydney and Brisbane. 10 ranked second in Melbourne and won the key demos.

Nine ranked second in the demos. Apart from Seven’s main channel ranked 3rd in the demos, 7Two that was the number one multi in total people ranked last out of all commercial multis in the key demos.

The end of the COVID affected Bachelor series saw it record its lowest final even with the final decision on 879,000 after 700k for the main program. That compares to 936,000 and 1,170,000 for last season.

Gogglebox that followed was up slightly week-on-week

SBS’s Railway Journeys hit a season high but SBS’s share dropped more than two points.

It’s not up against Hot Seat in all markets though. Likely it was still ahead of the news on Nine at 5pm

I realise that.
Which is why I wrote my sentence as it is.

Oh it’s just i didn’t see the news numbers anywhere to compare it to

Given this season of The Bachelor has been averaging around 550,000 viewers this season, last night’s figures suggest there were a lot of casual viewers who tuned in for the first time to see whom would be picked by Locky as his love. Still, I think 10 will be a bit disappointed with the show’s ratings and will be hoping The Bachelorette will fare better.

Oh sorry.
I didn’t discuss that because I was focusing on the win by The Chase Australia, and this is what I may commonly do.

No thats okay I just didn’t see the evidence of it winning against Nine news as the numbers aren’t reported, so want sure you knew or if it was more an assumption.

Melbourne must be tiring of Nine’s Thursday crime factuals?

Studio 10 in serious trouble. TV Tonight only has one number instead of the usual two which could mean it’s rating too low even for them.

Terrible numbers… the change has only damaged the brand even further. I cant see this returning next year.

As long as the advertising still pays for it, it’ll keep going forever.

There is only so long that will stack up.

I wouldn’t be surprised if the show is recording 0s is some capital cities at the moment.

As I mentioned in the Studio 10 area, yesterday’s ratings numbers for the morning shows are not a good basis for assessment due to the extended news coverage in Perth. TMS and Today Extra weren’t shown and Studio 10 was down in that market against the news coverage.

Special news coverage in Perth of Claremont Killings.

The 7.30 pm Nine News Special ranked 15th.

The morning coverage was dominated by Seven - ranking 21st for the day and more than double the coverage on Nine. However Nine’s coverage rated three times higher than Today Extra would normally get in the timeslot.

From Nine

Nine was the No.1 primary channel across the 5 City with Total People ( 18.1% ).
