Seven with another win in total people as 10 dominates the key demos.

Awful ratings for Britain’s Got Talent.

A Current Affair has really slipped lately.

Another great night for 10 post 7:30. Pointless is obviously dragging their whole night down as if a show is doing that well late (11 is that what time paradise finished?) you would expect them to be closer in shares.

So BGT will be even worse. :open_mouth:

#7

Last Thursday Modern Family that followed Front Bar in southern states originally had 435,000 in the preliminary overnights but that was adjusted to just 241,000.

Of course pointless is dragging the whole night down. 10 go from ~400k watching 5pm news to under 190k for Pointless before The Project recovers back to 400-500k by the 7pm hour.

10 need a way to keep the 400k watching 10 news and increase in the 6-7pm hour… don’t know gameshows are the answer.

It would be interesting to see the percentage shares for 10 from say 6:30-midnight.

#10

MC and Bachelor in Paradise dominated in the key demos, but BIP was well down on last year’s finale (774,000).
Will BGT have more people watching if it has a better lead-in than Home and Away?

#11

10 News Brisbane ahead of ABC News for the 2nd night this week.

Interesting the lack of interest in the media around Bachelor Of Paradise. This morning in Sydney Kyle and Jackie O were totally bored when they announced some people would be coming in. There was even a promo where the producer says “Look I don’t know who they are , I’ve never watched the show”.

Such poor execution from the network. Oh, what this show could have been for Ten!

#13

The Footy Show is down to a 5 figure national total. Will it last the season?

The Herald Sun is already calling for it to be axed immediately. In Melbourne the audience was less than one fifth of The Front Bar.

I doubt it. Even with ACA as its lead in last year it was a ratings bomb. What time did BGT air?

#15

8.30 in Syd/Bris and about 9.50 in Mel/Ade/Per

Totally agree. It was poor execution. But the show was never going to be successful on 10. Look at Masterchef. It has only acheived figures 150k higher.

So bound to rate poorly anyway.

Nine won in Brisbane but even with NRL was 2nd in Sydney to Seven. 10 outrated Nine in the other 3 markets.

10 won the three demos in main channel and network share.

Week to date:
Seven 29.3%
Nine 28.2%

This is likely to be the rating pattern for this quarter with Seven’s ratings being pumped up by AFL toward the end of the week.

#19

Very tight race in news in Melbourne last night. Seven, Nine and ABC all very close.

#20

You can’t really compare… different nights than last year and much later.

Bachelor in Paradise to hold over 400k for over 2.5 hours till 11pm I think is pretty good.
