Not much change in network shares from the previous Thursday with Nine again on top winning all markets except Perth that was won by Seven. Biggest improver was 9Gem

Seven News pulled well ahead of Nine’s 6pm bulletin with a new weekday high for 2020. As well, Seven looks to have split coding for The Latest; no idea why they would do this for one day of the week.

Gogglebox was up from the previous week but a repeat episode of Ambulance Australia was down 150k from the previous week’s first run episode. That saw RBT post a 65k increase.

Revelation was steady with Tuesday’s result. Pooch Perfect again disappointed to rank 28th and drop 60k from the previous week to fall below SBS’s 7.30pm programming.

The Project 6.30pm posted a 2020 high while The Chase was over 700k at 5.30pm

Proves my point that one half is dragging down the hour average that they’ve been publishing. I assume the 8th ranking is 7pm? Well ahead of The Project, as I suspected.

or maybe it’s the opposite and people are switching over to the latest once the project / aca and ABC News have finished?

Massive audience for another new Bluey episode. 356,000 for the first screening and 218,000 for the repeat screening. :open_mouth:

Huge ratings for Neighbours 175,000. Self isolation is bringing more viewers to it.

So good to see!

Bond has been huge for GEM! That has got nine across the line the last few nights.

Would you call that huge? It was well advertised yesterday. I was even intrigued when I saw an ad for it.

Ambulance didn’t do so bad for a repeat. I wonder if 10 could potentially make Thursdays a factual night every Thursday of the year and schedule things like The Bachelor for a Tuesday and Wednesday. It would free up their tentpoles a lot.

It would mean Survivor would only need to air two nights a week (Sunday and Monday) with The Bachelor on Tuesday and Wednesday. Or even The Masked Singer (Sunday and Monday) with The Amazing Race (Tuesday and Wednesday). So much freedom, extends the amount of weeks their tent poles air and less dips on the usual Tuesday.

Compared to how it normally does I would say that’s huge. Also good to see Survivor have a good increase as well.

I don’t know if that’s what I would call a 40k increase on last Thursday. But it is a solid increase.

It is for Neighbours. Same day last year (Thursday 4 April 2019), it failed to make the top 20 because it was below 116,000. Late last year, it was as hovering around 86,000- 99,000 in December and January. Christmas Day episode was 54,000.

Don’t you think that’s a huge turnaround?

It is a huge turnaround. But its not a huge figure.

So what is huge for multichannels, @turdall?

By the looks of it 350k seems to be huge.

Well, I described that as “massive” and that’s how I distinguished the difference between Bluey on 356,000 and Neighbours being “huge” on 175,000.

I can see how you have distinguished between the two. Its great Neighbours has seen an increase.

Could the second ratings be for the 9.30 edition !!!

That should tell Seven they need to keep The Latest at half hour. Looks like the first half hour rated quite well whilst the second half rated dismally.

The 9:30 ish edition ranked 31st.

Even though across the hour The Latest was down week-on-week the hour this was the highest rated week-day edition of The Latest for the week The followed from Seven News posting a 2020 weekday high.

9 News Sydney down quite a bit with Georgie in the chair - losing to 7 over the hour.
