Nine won its first overnight ratings of the year, one ahead of Seven. Though Seven had the number one main channel in the rankings, Nine’s network share was boosted by the Adelaide International on 9Gem delivering the top multichannel share.

Seven News had another big win, 170k ahead at 6pm but at 7pm A Current Affair won the timeslot, 100k ahead of Home and Away.

Nine’s post 7.30 saw Great Getaways rank 10th, down from the previous week, while a repeat Paramedics also made the top 20. The BBL on Seven was one of the lowest rated of this season, down 67,000 on the previous Thursday’s result in preliminary numbers.

ABC was boosted by the return of 7.30 that was a time slot winner at just under 400,000. That was after ABC News was pushed into second place. A couple of other ABC repeats also made the top 20.

10 was down 1.5 from the previous Thursday with three top 20 entries. The Project again was the top performer for the network. While a repeat Ambulance made the top 20, the season 24 Law & Order: SVU premiere missed out at 8.30.

It wasn’t helped by the poor on-field performance by the Strikers (bowled out for 108) and the home side the Stars reached the target with 33 balls to spare. The Adelaide audience for the BBL dropped from the Strikers’ win over the Renegades on Tuesday.

Home and Away is really struggling theses days. Was only a matter of time though.

Home and Away episodes though pick up in catch-up viewing especially on 7Plus with +100k extra viewers.

I think Seven thought they would take advantage of Neighbours’ extended hiatus as Neighbours is normally on from very early in January.

I was thinking it was holding its own this week. I’m sure that will change as the year goes on.

But The Project Encore (at approx 11pm or so) often wins that timeslot, or gets close to winning that slot. Which is part of the primetime share, so i say it is a success :slight_smile:

Well you should always check the alternative meanings listed below such as “a derogatory term chiefly, but not exclusively, applied to white Americans perceived to be crass and unsophisticated”.

And maybe you should check the other meanings of woke which include “morally superior virtual signalling”
