I recall the first block of “National Nine News” that night going out from Sydney to Melbourne, Brisbane and NBN. I think Ian Ross was the presenter as it was a Saturday.
NBN covered up the Nine supers in the bottom left with an NBN News logo and had scrolling text that said something like “NBN News commences at 6.10pm” which also obscured the text on some of the Nine supers.
