I heard the exact same thing and they just said according to Mel Doyle’s Instagram she’s just said they are still filming.

Hopefully they’ll read from ‘the red book’ in the future episodes.
That just alludes to the fact the show will be back not that they will read from the book. .

According to guide received today, the show will return Tuesday 11 October 7:30 PM.
The 90 minute episode will feature Ray Meagher.

100 minutes? What’s the chances that it will still run overtime?
And in that 100 minute run epiaode, how much will they talk about Ray’s career before his 1988’s start to Home and Away? He has done other work.

If Seven cuts back on the amount of ads during the show, it can reduce the duration down to around 90 minutes.
And still using the book as a couch prop as apposed to reading from it… why bloody bother?
