Saved by Tones And I

  • One of the night’s most emotional stories, Lilita shared her dream of pursuing music despite not having the support of her father.
  • Although she didn’t receive a chair turn, Tones And I believed she showed enormous potential and selected her for a second chance in the competition.
  • Melanie noted that Lilita’s confidence appeared to fade once she realised no chairs had turned.
  • Tones described Lilita as having a “really big voice” and believed there was more to discover with further mentoring.
  • Lilita will now work with Tones before returning later in the Blind Auditions.

Whether they’ve been affected by nerves, chosen the wrong song, or simply not delivered their best performance on the day, Tones can bring them into her secret coaching program, mentor them behind the scenes, and give them a second chance later in the competition.

  • The four-piece vocal group, who have been performing together since high school, brought their signature harmonies and choreography to the stage.
  • Richard Marx blocked Ronan Keating, preventing one of the band’s dream Coaches.
  • The group impressed with an additional performance after the chair turns, showcasing their polished routines and vocal blend.
  • Richard praised the group’s individual talent and described one member’s falsetto as “world class”.
  • Drawing on her experience with the Spice Girls, Melanie secured The 60 Four for Team Melanie C.
  • A devastated Ronan called it “one of the best auditions I’ve ever seen on The Voice anywhere”.

  • The youngest artist of the night delivered a stunning performance that earned an instant four-chair turn.
  • Coaches were shocked to learn Leyla was only 12 years old, praising her maturity, power and stage presence.

  • The father-of-three delivered one of the most entertaining performances of the season, using a loop pedal and impressive live musicianship.
  • All four Coaches turned their chairs, praising his vocal ability, musicality and stage presence.
  • Tones And I immediately recognised his loop pedal technique from her own busking days.
  • Richard praised Benny’s tone, vibrato and swagger, ultimately winning him over for Team Richard.
  • Benny described the experience as an enormous relief after years in the music industry.

  • The Melbourne dock worker performed an emotional tribute inspired by his father, who is living with dementia.
  • Despite receiving no chair turns, Dicko’s heartfelt performance resonated with Tones And I.
  • Tones said she had not seen another artist quite like him and was determined to give him a second chance.
  • Dicko revealed he hopes to be a role model for his children and make his family proud.
  • He will now join Tones’ secret coaching program and return later in the competition.
