I think 10 needs the extra day to ensure it gets a HD clean feed copy of the episode from the BBC.

So I watched the BBC version and then parts of the version on 10 Play. They have different music/soundtracks.
Must be the music rights issues.
Something interesting to note, Ch10 have included the Uncloaked aftershow for the current Celeb UK season on 10Play.
I would love for 10 to do this to fill out their schedule in a cost efficient yet effective way - airing an aftershow (airs immediately after broadcast of the show on 10Play and at 9:30 on the channel (ie, after HYBPA , Cheep Seats or whatever else is on at 8:30) for some of their reality formats - could definitely work for things like Traitors, Survivor and BB.

Weirdly it says applications close December 2027 (they must mean 2026) and filming is late summer 2027
That’s a shame. I only started getting into it because they had celebrities in it. I probably won’t watch a regular season.

I reckon they will do both in 2027. A civilian version and a celeb one
maybe they feature both normies and reality stars on the cast (like the Canadian version).
That would be worse for me. I wouldn’t watch that either.

10 does need shows to fill the timeslot.
They have Survivor, Masterchef, Big Brother, Ninja Warrior as the big reality shows. So 2 seasons Traitors could work but it could also feed into viewer fatigue?
Add on Gogglebox, Taskmaster and maybe TGYH (is it due to be back?) and they have content
