While we are on the subject of the The Simpsons, wish they would make a PS5 version of The Simpsons Hit and Run game. ![]()
I hope so too! Fingers crossed! ![]()
Yes! Couldn’t agree more! ![]()
And Road Rage please
Another Simpsons prediction?
Didn’t this already launch in March and is only available in the US at the moment?
Why isn’t it everywhere? Surely it wouldn’t be that hard to do?
Following Racing Minister Winston Peters’ announcement that greyhound racing will be banned in Aotearoa from August 2026, more than 2,000 retired racing greyhounds urgently require homes, making it the biggest animal rehoming effort the country has ever faced.
To accelerate awareness and drive adoption, The Simpsons have granted New Zealand the use of scenes featuring one of the world’s most recognisable greyhounds: Santa’s Little Helper.
Picard was well-known for her performance as Marge Simpson, dubbing the role played in the original English by Julie Kavner. On top of voicing Marge in the first 34 seasons of “The Simpsons,” Picard also provided the French dub for “The Simpsons Movie” in 2007.

Apparently The Simpsons rarely aired at 6pm. Mandela effect.
Some spoilers on the 800th episode last week.
Didn’t re-runs only move to 6pm permanently in like 1996 or something and of course left after 2010? So that’s technically true, but not for the 2000s.
I remember their 7pm timeslot being fiddled with way more than the seemingly untouchble 6pm and 6:30pm slots.
That’s true and 7pm slot also included The Simpsons for various stints
Without going through every guide, I don’t think there was a year from 1993 to 2014 where The Simpsons did not air at some point at either 6pm or 7pm.
Even during the disastrous news revolution of 2011, 6pm Simpsons was still airing in January 2011 and eventually brought back full time in December 2012.
Here in the UK, it aired at 6 pretty consistently for about 27 years. Originally it was Mondays and Fridays at 6 on BBC2, then in 2002 that became every weeknight at 6. For about 6 months in 2004 it didn’t air at all on terrestrial, then it moved to Channel 4 and ran on weeknights at 6 for about 20 years.
Sky One (like your FOX8) aired it every weeknight at 7 for about 30 years, too. New episodes were Sundays at 6:30 for a LONG time. At one point they tried a couple of other slots, then went back to Sundays. Now it’s on E4 and I have no idea when new episodes run ![]()
