Hugh Riminton with an exclusive report tonight regarding the Peter Falconio murder. Good reporting. Ten have so much good talent and much to offer in news and current affairs yet itâs under utilized and undervalued.
Their dire schedule and ratings can be seen through this mismanagement. Poor promotion as well to blame. Poor execution of previous strategies. Such a shame.

With part 2 tomorrow it couldâve easily been an Eyewitness News (or still packaged under The Project) Exclusive Special to prop up the schedule somewhere, say on a Saturday 6:00-6:30pm over 2 weekends or similar where theyâre currently airing Bondi Rescue repeats. With news often being their highest rated program on Saturday nights, it would be a good continuation of the news with a segue from Tarsh at the end after the weather with Hugh standing at the video wall ready to introduce the story.

Some different graphics used tonight in the coming up promo for next week.
Stand up comedian Nick Cody was a great guest and really fast with the comebacks. They should get him back on the show again. And Ten should be looking at people like him as possible future chat show hosts.
Itâs hard to believe the show will reach 2000 episodes this Wednesday! A great achievement.
