and Waleed was doing celebrity interviews again
Far out! That’s not new. He always does these. He usually interviews the iconic superstars from the past.
He should Cher the interviews
He does Cher them around. Rove, Sarah and Georgie do their fair share.
Scroll back and you’ll see the proof.
Alex Lee was 3rd panelist last night. Did she do Rove Live Saturday?
They’re trying weird cold openers again and mucking it up.
Sarah presented the story on the Sam Kerr’s court case in the UK and interviewed John Paul Gonzo in London. Then, the director cut to Waleed, who was not part of the interview and was just looking straight into the camera.
Then Waleed introduced the next story and began with “Hello again”.
The cold standing open shouldn’t be used to open the show, it’s proved time & time again it doesn’t flow well.
If they use it to into a story, do it after after returning from the first ad break or something.
During Tommy’s interview tonight re I’m a Celeb:
Tommy: “It’s for celebrities who don’t have jobs”
Sarah: “I’m a celebrity’s coming for all of us soon”
Waiting for DM’s article ‘Project host: we’re all out of jobs soon’.
Was such an odd start to the show tonight, no welcome or introduction of anyone, they also skipped the “live from the lands of the kulin nation” bit completely.
Kate and Sam randomly appear during the interview after the 2nd story.
Yeah. It’s all very odd.
I think the best opening for the show is when they do news headlines and each of the three regulars do the voice over for one story. Then they say hello to each other and go straight into the top story.
Another random line up tonight
Rove is up on the GC rubbing shoulders with the more famous folk.
They had an ex producer on as a guest for his comedy show.
We’ve got another big week of guests coming up on The Project! ㅤ

Anytime there’s big name guests on the show Rove will be right next to them.
10 February - 13 February
Hamish Macdonald filling in for Waleed.
Good combo so they had a lot of laughs tonight.
Can they just reduce the repetitive number of Coming Up promos they run before the ad breaks?
