Waleed presenting tonight.
Rove is probably catching up with Pink
Just another of @Drew_1981’s theories squashed.
and also catching up with Pink
Rove is at the Gold Coast where the AACTA Awards are being held. Pink is currently in Sydney, doing a concert as we speak. I doubt he’s interviewing her from satellite.
They’ll cross paths. I never said anything about interviewing her
Give it a rest.
I’ll just leave this here…
why? (p.s. I am not clicking on a link to the Daily Mail)
I think that story was written after the lazy journo at the Daily Fail read your conspiracy theories.
Has Rove caught up with Pink yet? That’s what “everyone” wants to find out… since Rove wasn’t on The Project on Friday night…
Rove was at the AACTAs wasn’t he? Pink’s in Sydney so I doubt it.
As mentioned above. ^
Big story here. Lisa was effectively fired from the show according to her affidavit, rather than deciding to move on.
I think it was pretty obvious
It was always hard to believe three people suddenly decided to leave at the one time.
It makes sense, but still a bit of a shock. We’ve heard the ‘official’ story recounted many times, including by Peter Helliar on I’m a celeb. Was everyone bold-face lying?
Interesting insight to the industry workings. How many other similar situations have also been a web of lies? Mel & Sam leaving Sunrise, Tracy leaving ACA?
Who knows. But they may also have NDAs preventing them to say anything further.
But if anyone says that they are leaving to “spend more time with their family” you can pretty much bet they’ve been asked to leave
In the old days it used to be “going to special projects” which everyone knew was code for “sacked”
Look at the ratings during Lisa Wilkinson’s Brittany Higgins interviews and compare with The Project’s ratings now.
Either The Project was directly losing sponsors due to the shows more news-based, political style and polarising hosts like Wilkinson.
Or Beverley McGarvey bowed to pressure from media such as Daily Mail and The Australian, both of which still criticise The Project now, to make The Project ‘softer’. This hasn’t recaptured any of the desired ‘feel-good’ audiences or stopped those same publications criticising the show.
This new format, that people here clearly identified and which launched with that horrendous ad campaign:
has in turn left the show without an identity and audience.
Is it a comedy show? Is it a news show? Who knows!
