Excellent and very useful there, @TV.Cynic. Wasn’t expecting the timeline for episode 1 to start so early (and span such a long length of time!), given everything in the lead-up to this new series implied the episode would pretty much be about the Logies and that’s where it’d be starting off. The dates for the final three episodes interestingly have a very similar set-up to the final half of series 2 (ep5 set directly after ep4, with ep6 set some months later), which gives us an idea of the dynamic between the leads (and to some extent the ensemble cast) for that part of the series. Is the information within that graphic publicly available at all, as I haven’t been able to find a source with all the episode titles beyond the first? New, short interview with Lucas reveals that Chai Hansen is back as a main cast member for this series, after Hansen previously disclosed scheduling conflicts between s2 and his Amazon Prime Video series prevented him from appearing in the former as much as he would’ve liked. I thought it was very ambitious to recreate the 1989 Logies as the basis for a large portion of the first episode. Plus rewriting history by changing who won several of the major awards was an interesting choice. Unfortunately, the wins didn’t clear up the question of which, if any, news bulletin/network the series was based on. ---
