I quite like The Inspired Unemployed Impractical Jokers and get a few laughs out of it, but this show was a bit underwhelming in comparison. On paper the travel concept had potential and a couple of the things they did were entertaining… although then some things felt overly cheesy with them playing up/acting a bit, especially the medieval fighting and haunted house bits. It made the episode drag. I think it would have worked better as a tighter 30-minute show, focusing on 3–4 activities instead of stretching to 5. ---

Given how it rated, I think most people would agree - I can’t see it lasting long in that slot, or 10 will switch Tasmaster/The List timeslots around. I like the idea behind the show, but probably would’ve found another duo to front it, given they’re going to front another series of Impractical Jokers this year, which hasn’t really set the ratings on fire. ---

I was thinking about a possible duo that could’ve fronted this show instead, and was thinking, maybe Carrie & Tommy? Could’ve tied in nicely with their radio show and had some good cross-promotion, Carrie’s got a decent profile and very familiar to 10’s audience, as does Tommy. Both are funny with good energy with the right demos for what 10 should’ve been chasing with a show like this. Like wealth? I don’t see it personally, certainly not Tommy - at least they don’t present that way IMO. I think they have the right likability and salability for a show like this, they’d give it all a go, there would be drama and funny moments, and they’re an established duo. Any suggestions on who would work? Cause obviously Jack and Falcon don’t have the right sort of pulling power for the show. ---

I think the guys are perfectly fine, it’s not meant to have large budget talent and is more for Paramount +. Just generally the show and concept could have been executed better. I also think that maybe they could have cycled some of the other Uninspired boys in there some episodes (to mix it up a bit week to week) rather than see the same guys each week. ---
