Yeah, it coincided with the return of Spotlight. With the program now apparently done for the year (a bizarre thing in itself), it seems like it means The Latest won’t air on Sunday nights anymore either.

Thanks for the clarification. Thought they’d be airing it regularly on Sundays since 2020 alongside Nine’s late bulletin.

It’s all just a bit too red and angled for me personally. I really preferred the first iteration of this show before they meddled with it too much, it actually felt distinctly different. That was even at a time where the rest of the news look was well overdue for a refresh too.
