The Bachelor/Golden Bachelor Australia

According to Sunday Herald Sun’s Fiona Byrne, season two of The Golden Bachelor will start shooting in February, and a source has told her that there are many women from Victoria who are vying for the interest of the new bachelor.

A source needed to tell her that? Isn’t that what the show is obviously about?

Obviously the news detail there is the fact many are from Victoria, not the part where it explains the show. You don’t need to be a smarty pants all the time, bestie.:joy:

It’s beyond my control. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

And we love you for it apparently.

Neighbours of $110m Sydney mansion in stand-off with Golden Bachelor contestants

Karaoke until 4am, live bands and a trumpet-wielding neighbour — The Golden Bachelor has barely begun filming, but it’s already struck a sour note in one of Sydney’s most exclusive enclaves.

Filming for the upcoming season of The Golden Bachelor has sparked complaints from residents near Sydney’s waterfront Tresco Estate, with police called following reports of loud and late-night partying.

Neighbours of the Elizabeth Bay mansion – understood to be worth upwards of $110 million – said council and police have been inundated with complaints during production of the dating show spin-off, which features mature-aged contestants.

Tensions escalated this week when neighbours reportedly began protesting by blowing a trumpet from a nearby backyard, prompting producers to call police on Wednesday.

One resident, who asked not to be named, said the disruption had been ongoing since production crews moved in.

The Golden Bachelor delayed amid talk of Samantha Armytage’s breakfast TV return

The Golden Bachelor’s Australian debut has been pushed back for a third time, with the dating series now expected to hit screens next March rather than later this year – and there are competing theories as to why.

While some close to the production insist the delay is a positive sign, others believe it could have more to do with the future of its host, Samantha Armytage, and the changing face of breakfast television.

Sources close to the production say the series has exceeded expectations during its development and producers are now keen to give it the strongest possible launch.

But another theory doing the rounds in TV circles is more intriguing.

There is growing speculation Armytage could be in line for a return to brekky TV, with the presenter being considered for a role on Today.

If that happens, the decision to hold The Golden Bachelor – which features Ed Savage and Mathew Collett – until March would make strategic sense.

Does anyone do their research anymore? Literally a mistake in the first line.

The show already made its debut last year.

It’s season two that keeps being delayed.

I’m getting so sick of mediocre journalism in this country. Long gone are the days you could actually trust the news being delivered to you. I know it’s a small thing with this example but it’s definitely happening regularly.

Yeah, I don’t understand why the journalist did not know the show debuted last year (and received a Logies nomination)? Also, why will Nine put two dating shows in the same week (MAFS and The Golden Bachelor)?

It’s all a little confusing. Was the alleged assault on his wife or someone else? Interesting and unusual for someone to release such a statement if they were recently assaulted by their husband.

Yeah I thought the same thing.

Under Queensland law, the identities of domestic violence victims cannot be revealed when the charges are initially laid.

I was on Malaysia Airlines couple days ago and saw that Golden Bachelor Australia is available to stream onboard.
Interesting given it’s the only proper Aussie show aside from Bluey available onboard

Sam Wood was refused bail this afternoon at the Maroochydore Magistrates Court.
