His name is Barry “Bear” Myrden.
I think The Golden Bachelor will debut in late October or early November, after The Block finishes its current season.
Sam and Barry went to the Logie Awards yesterday.

Been wondering if the plan is to bring back the franchise, say starting with The Bachelor OG? Depending on the success of The Golden Bachelor.
Minus Paradise, Bachelor and Bachelorette were consistent strong performers for 10 for a number of years and more importantly brought in younger viewers, advertisers and also lead to new personalities.
We’ve seen the positive effect on shows before after they’ve been rested for a few years as well.
I don’t think Nine will bring back the franchise, since MAFS has been outrageously successful for a decade, and Love Island Australia is doing very well on streaming.

Now he is ready to open his heart again to love.

I read in this week’s TVT newsletter apparently whispers of a “reality comeback”… This (OG Bachelor and/or Bachelorette) and something like TBL come to mind
