Ten News Presenters and Reporters

That was often said by people here but maybe she did have a contract for weekend news.

She seemed like the regular weekend newsreader to me and seems like her contract’s up at the end of this year.

If she was freelance/casual then wouldn’t we expect to see her pop up randomly on other days and bulletins to fill in when needed?

Though from what’s been said it sounds like she’s sick of working in TV news and wants to focus on radio.

Don’t be surprised if she doesn’t end up on ABC, possibly as a Insiders fill in host when David Spears is off

Not necessarily. Especially if she has weekday commitments elsewhere.

Former Ten Eyewitness News presenter Jennifer Hansen had a small guest role on Neighbours yesterday. She played TV reporter Veronica Locastro from Eye on News.

Jennifer Hansen is the real life wife of Alan Fletcher (Karl Kennedy) and they appeared together in one scene where her character snubbed him.

Interestingly their daughter (in real life) is also named Veronica

Were Sydney upfront tonight? May explain Sandra’s absence

Upfronts was held at Dreamworld

I reckon MorticiaAdams was talking about the Sydney upfronts for NSW clients.

There’s a Sydney presentation? Not as far as I’m aware.

All media/advertisers from interstate were flown to the Gold Coast for the BB launch.

Candice Wyatt is a big loss to the Melbourne newsroom as she’s a regular fill-in for Jennifer Keyte on the 5pm bulletin.

Part of article reads:

After almost 15 years with Channel 10, experienced reporter and newsreader Candice Wyatt is quitting the network.

Wyatt, who is part of 10’s Melbourne news team, recently advised 10 of her plans to leave and will sign off in early December.

She put her decision down to it being time for a “new chapter.”

“I leave Network 10 very proud of the journalism I have produced across 15 years, and the stories I have been privileged to tell,” Wyatt said.

Nicole Strahan, executive editor of 10 News Melbourne, praised Wyatt for her contribution to 10’s news team.

“We are grateful for Candice’s contribution to the newsroom and wish her all the very best for her future endeavours.”
