Wasn’t loving the extended closing theme today. A bit out of step with the normal variations of the theme that are iconically 10.

Very long closer today. Same theme that they usually use, just using a portion of it which usually isn’t played out on its own.

I really wish they would use that top row as it is designed. We know it is a “ticker” (screen strip) but they just treat it light a lightbox. Missed opportunity

Problem is with the pre-recorded and spliced bits they can’t afford to have wrong headlines or NSW/QLD ones in the wrong place. Should definitely be in place for Midday, given they are also writing them anyway.
Would look awesome on Midday if they came back from breaks with a wideshot of stories from the OTS ticker scrolling along the strip on the set.
