They could actually present it with an Adelaide style set-up from Brisbane, and control it from Sydney. Staffing in Sydney would not be an issue since they are already there for the Brisbane opt-outs.

Kate is ok, Max is stock standard, Tiff is the standout as weather presenter.
Would be great if they’d try and get a solid anchor to do it locally though.

The merry-go-round of this thread sometimes is nauseating lol.
All 10 need to do now is separate Sydney/Brisbane bulletins, it’s that simple.

No closer on Midday today. Daniel Doody finished his entertainment report and then cut straight to Entertainment Tonight.

He didn’t even finish it. He threw to the story which was from an American news program and they never came back. No wrap up from Daniel Doody or farewell from Narelda. Just an abrupt cut to Entertainment Tonight.
Also, no intro to Entertainment Tonihht since thry cut that episode to shreds to fit in an extended Masterchef repeat afterwards.

They really need to work on timing the bulletin, it seems like they are trying to fit too much in.

Here’s a thought. On the days when Masterchef runs over, how about they finish the news earlier to fit in a whole episode of Entertainment Tonight?
Then they wouldn’t have to run rubbish filler news items from American news programs.

And they only showed ten minutes of Entertainment Tonight but a full episode of 100 year old Judge Judy repeats.

I highly doubt that they would cut the news to fit a filler program.
They should have extended the news and shown Entertainment Tonight in place of Judge Judy.

I remember Nine used to do that with their Morning News when they would have a supersized episode of The Voice to encore.
If the encore was 2hr20mins, they would extend the news to 12.10, then run a filler program before the encore.

But according to 10play’s online guide, the 10 Bold screening of Late News is only for Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. Adelaide and Perth will have the bulletin at 10.45pm on channel 10 as scheduled.
