She’s just not the right fit for presenting solo and never really has been. She lacks authority and I don’t think she’s a strong newsreader She needs to stick to producing now or getting back on the road. ---

I’m not disagreeing with what you’re saying - I’m just not sure who else could be in contention. Only other person who comes to mind is Jayde but I’ve only seen her present News a couple of times, so not sure what she’s be like long term. Anyway, it’s all hypotheticals at this point in time as Jen does not appear to have any plans to step down anytime soon (killing the speculation before it starts LOL) ---

Agree, even a Melbourne backdrop would’ve been okay on this occasion as it was clear they were crossing to Melbourne given the subjects links to the area. But Queensland have used some strange choices when crossing to their own newsroom too, including a more zoomed in version of the globe backdrop where it could be localised. ---
