3 hours and 20 minutes of Graham Norton fun (and repeats). How exciting…
New Episode
As far as I can tell these are not repeats. This is actually Wheel of Fortune UK.
TvTonight has also just posted on this. Labelled as new “Wheel of Fortune” returning, but without the “Australia” in the title. Which would indicate the UK version. Has 10 aired the UK version before, or is this the first time?
First time
the guide says ALL NEW EPISODES and the coding is UK
The UK Wheel went into a second season so there’s plenty of episodes.
Shame they didn’t make more of the Australian one, it didn’t do terribly and was an easy watch. The prize money was low but overall wasn’t the worst thing 10 have aired.
I think this is a good strategy and probably where they should have tried this eps from the start. Dislike when the networks all go after the same genre at the same time like this lifestyle obsession for 7.30 Fridays. Having something different on offer is a great idea!
Will Matlock start from the beginning or pick up where it left off?
Why would it re start from episode 1? That would be dumb
Correct
I was just thinking they may have started it again to pick up new viewers.
I think Seven do have a licencing agreement with SPTV, beyond just an individual show or two. There is a series of shows and movies run on both broadcast and bvod with their distributor ender.
Their first deal was 2010 for 7mate’s launch. After Nine’s 2007 one lapsed, they themselves followed Ten’s long-running output back when it was “Columbia TriStar” that dated back to at least the early 90s. Which delivered them hits and helped to form their identity during that era. Included the likes of Seinfeld, Party of Five, Dawson’s Creek and Just Shoot Me, plus blockbuster films.
If Ten were to do this, I think they would use either one of the secondary channels for catch up, screen double episodes until they catch up on Saturday nights or refer them to 10Play. The latter being the most likely scenario
or both.
We know how much 10 loves repeats on their schedules

A rarity these days that a reality Finale is only scheduled for 70 minutes. Short and sweet. No doubt it will run overtime, but thats not the point. lol.
