Ten Network - Programs and Schedules

Although I agree they did have something planned for that slot but it didn’t work (Shaun’s game show). This would still give them one slot, being Thursday, that needed to be looked at.

Including Postponing The Amazing Race Australia by 24 Hours.

I don’t think people will still be wanting to watch specials on the Queen’s life three days in a row. They can do an extended News or The Sunday Project to fill the 6pm slot but I don’t think they should keep rolling it into the night.

A ITN Production for Channel 5 UK, clearly on the shelf ready to go and updated from time to time.

Much prefer to see a retrospective like this, than rolling coverage with little new details.

Why wouldn’t 10 just air HYBPA on Tuesday and shift Cheap Seats to 9:30

The 2 shows have a lot of overlapping content which would not be good running back to back. Even with them 24 hours apart it’s already a bit jarring.

They probably also have a lot of staff who work on both shows so could be difficult to do logistically.

Or run HBPA on Wednesday 7:30 for one time only in place of the repeat.

Film them like normal. play HYBPA Tue night and Cheapseats Thu night after Gogglebox as its TBA anyway.

Due to the soccer friendly between Australia and New Zealand on the Thursday, The Cheap Seats can only be shown in the eastern states after the soccer coverage concludes (around 10pm).

Isn’t HYBPA filmed on a Sunday afternoon? Would be much better airing Sunday night… even if it airs live? I’m sure the NCIS: Hawaii fans would survive a week.
I guess Friday will be a real test to see if something can still rate well on the nignt.

Showing HYBPA on a Sunday night is not a bad idea. However it will have to be recorded on Saturday (just like what they did during the Logie Awards in June this year), as the show needs substantial editing to cut out naughty bits that can’t be shown on TV.

We should find out this afternoon or tonight what 10 plans to do with HYBPA next week.

why do all this schedule gymnastics for one night? Just skip the week and move on.

I think the show is strong enough to air in a different timeslot for the one week due to the circumstances.
