Ten Network - Programs and Schedules

Haha… my Sunday afternoon is complete :+1:

One of these days I might watch an episode to find out why Ten thinks it’s worthwhile to screen three episodes back to back every freaking week.

Does Bull do anything in the ratings eg demos?

They are only airing them back to back because there is a crossover event which starts in the FBI ep and concludes on FBI International.

The YTT special is pretty good so far. For people who grew up with it, it’s very nostalgic.

Yes it is, I had no intention of watching it but have enjoyed it a lot.

Can’t believe I’m watching this YTT special. It’s a very strange mix of nostalgia and the surfacing of uncomfortable feelings associated with adolescence. I’m almost exactly the same age as Danni Minogue so just the sight of some of the fashions coupled with the music from the '80s is dredging up some uncomfortable memories. The really early stuff is like a bit of a warm hug because I associate it with safe and happy childhood memories.

And given it’s made in-house by 10, not too bad at all. When 10 try they make good content. It’s a shame it’s few and far between with them.

Haven’t been watching but let me guess…this YTT: Unmasked special is entirely centred around the original 1970s/1980s series with not a single mention of the failed 2012 revival?

Good to hear that it’s well produced though.

It’s up on 10 play now for anyone that missed it.

A rare example of the 0-10 Network logo plus some of tonight’s presentation.

Why would they? Nobody cared for the 2012 version when it aired, they’re not going to care about it almost a decade later.

Quite enjoyed it. There were quite a few team members that didn’t rate a mention though. It’s a shame they couldn’t have at least shown some of those other team member’s clips or at least photos and names.

The biggest omission for me was Debra Byrne who was a big star after YTT. But when I googled her name, I remembered that she had made some serious allegations about what had happened to her behind the scenes. So understandable she would not be highlighted in the show.

I also watched the YTT special and enjoyed it. I migrated to Australia in 1988, the final year of YTT, so I only read bits and pieces about the show in the long period since then. The special allowed me to see some of the best performances.

Law and Order the original series finished in 2010… well it’s getting a revival for a new season!

Wondering if Nine or Ten pick this up?

Just what we needed, another tired rehash of a show that ran its course.

Was the fan outcry really that deafening they had to bring this back, or was it the usual reason that Hollywood had zero creative ideas and they needed another bland, cookie cutter police procedural to add to their hoarding collection.

This is interesting, CSI: Vegas takes the 9:00 slot from Oct 10 following the Celebrity MasterChef premiere with FBI after that.

I wonder what that means for FBI: Most Wanted and FBI: International and whether they will air after that or shift nights.

Also, Prince Phillip: The Royal Family Remembers from the BBC airs 9pm Wednesday October 13.

I am looking forward to CSI, but their scheduling decisions are a mess :exploding_head:  :face_vomiting:

Agree, but I can see why they’re trying to put it back in its former traditional & successful slot.

I think the issue here is the lack of a clear plan and transparency about their intentions for scheduling, this is where they could take some inspiration from CBS and the US networks in general.
