Ten Network - Programs and Schedules

I watched it last night. I was never a fan of the original but I didn’t mind this.

No? They aired it for a number of years on Christmas Eve.

Murphy Brown has just been cancelled by CBS.

Has it though?!

Sorry I just thought it had been cancelled because all the major media was reporting it.

American Housewives is an ok show, I’ve watched first and second season on abc (us). Then it got shit after that. As for A Million little things, the problem with that show is the whole thing as a concept doesn’t work in terms of plot and synopsis. Acting is okay, and they have the dead character in promo shots in shit. I watched the first episode, you know it would have been better off as a telemovie instead. Like they did when they remade Dirty Dancing for T.V a couple years back.

American Housewife would be an ok show for a filer during summer on Ten Peach.

Who will pick up New Girl ? That show used to air on Eleven now 10 Peach. Not on streaming services either.

Ten running a massive radio promotion campaign for The Conners. Problem is they’re all saying 7.30 Tonight which is wrong because they have bumped it to 8pm. Hopeless.

Why are they trying so hard to promote a US comedy?

Yeah. You’d think they’d put more effort in making How To Stay Married a success.

Lots of radio and outdoor advertising for HTSM at the new time of 7:30 tonight here in Brisbane.

It’s still on Fox8 isn’t it?

Yes it is. They just finished showing season 6.

It seems that Madam Secretary has moved to 10 Boss.

Would’ve been great if 10 created some more original Christmas programming by calling on their various cooking / lifestyle shows for some summer prime time specials like the Everyday Gourmet one they did last year (I think?) which could feature various 10 personalities etc and be better than umpteenth Jamie Oliver repeats.

No Game of Games?

Because that would be the final episode - possibly ever.

If Ten plays the following shows in the NEXT guide (wc 16th) then they will get to the official mid season finals: NCIS and FBI. It would also be the final (ever?) episode of Blind Date. It is the final episode of Elementary too.

There are still more episodes of Murphy Brown, Jamie, Law and Order, How to Stay Married, The Conners and Blue Bloods.

So much for Ten claiming they’re going to competitively program for 50 weeks - that schedule looks like a typical non-ratings one…
