Ten Network - Programs and Schedules

Wonder if it might’ve done more being on a Sunday or Monday

If it was on last Sunday it probably would’ve rated 1m

Too bad it was under embargo then.

As if. Unless if it’s an established hit hardly any shows rate above 1M.

Probably would have rated a lot more. Pity it couldn’t have aired on Tuesday and Wednesday. However, if interest holds up tonight it could help their Sunday lineup.

10 decided to turn to movies on weekend.

I definitely agree with that but to say it could rate 1 million plus is just unreasonable expectations, particularly since most of 10’s current line up doesn’t even pass the 600-700K mark.

Especially up against the cultural phenomenon that is MAFS, which “Leaving Neverland” would most likely have to compete against if it aired between Sunday & Wednesday.

Up against MAFS and MKR? Dreaming…

Plus it wasn’t even an option

Doesn’t seem like a great audience or a bad audience. Middle of the road?

Won it’s timeslot is at the top of the road not the middle.

Topped the demos didn’t it?

A 5-city rating of 1 million + regionals would be higher than what Part 1 rated on HBO in the US. Australian audience was higher than other major markets compared to population…

I know it’s too early to speculate but with rumours swirling that 10 has picked up The Masked Singer (set to air ‘late 2019’), anyone guess when it might air? I’m thinking October going into Summer and together with Bachelorette.

In the US Leaving Neverland Part 1 had a total audience of 1.7 million Live + 1 day. No doubt that will have risen across the week.

The overnight number for Part 1 in the US was 1,285,000.

It may have received a slight bump in viewers on another night but what it lacked in figures it made up in shares Ten as a network was over 20% last night which is amazing for them, so I’d say scheduling it on a Friday/Saturday when they normally get around 12-15% total share has been a success

Such a random timeslot for a once a week show. It certainly won’t do any better than Sundays and Mondays particularly with Bondi and Montreal Comedy as a lead in.
