Ten Network - Programs and Schedules

The set for blind date looks good. They clearly didn’t film this at pyrmont given the scale of the set.

I reckon that both of these shows will be launched on the 7 October 2018

No way. Game of Games will be a 7:30 show and so will Blind Dates. Expect to see Game of Games 7:30 Sunday and Blind Dates 7:30 Monday and Ambulance Australia 7:30 Tuesday.

Surprised we have not heard about secret life of four year olds (or whatever its called).

But when will Australian Survivor and The Bachelor conclude?

In about 2 weeks I think.

It was filmed at Fox Studios.

Rarely happens but Ten’s finally put up a schedule that is better than Seven.

Why do Ten refuse to shake up their weekend network line-up? Do they feel they can’t compete with sport and all the movies across Seven and Nine, plus want a point of difference?

Ughhh Graham Norton and The Notebook on a Sunday

To be fair, Ten have tried all sorts of combos on Saturdays and launched some new Sunday programming options over the last year or so. To say they refuse to “shake it up” isn’t exactly accurate, but it’s fair to say they haven’t really found any relief yet with what they’ve done to date and we know they are trying new things soon.

Has Ten got the episode count wrong or is Ten showing it out of order? Next week should be episode 3.

It’s a soap. They can’t show it out of order. Must be an error.

they obviously didn’t want to put premium content up against NRL Grand Final.

So no Sports Tonight during the week???

This is exactly the weekend Sports Tonight should be capitalising on.

They should be doing a Saturday 8.30 show to wrap up the AFL Grand Final, then the usual Sunday 10.30 to wrap up NRL.

I agree. Ten have tried lots of different programs on Saturday and Sunday but nothing seems to have worked just yet. I do think the focus should start on Saturday and hopefully with a few extra viewers that can translate to Sundays. I also don’t think throwing things at the might of AFL Grand Final and NRL Grand Final weekend is necessarily the right move either. Start fresh in either Summer or at the beginning of ratings period.

Surely there must be some content in the cupboard other than a movie on Sunday?

Game of Games premieres Sunday 7 October at 7:30pm. Ten will be hoping Bathurst 1000 viewers stick around to see Grant in action and solve their Sunday struggles.
