A new episode has been held over because it is the last part of the triple crossover with FBI: International and FBI. The crossover will be shown on 10 later this year.
The final two episodes of Riptide on the night of State of Origin game three. Also 7.30pm Wednesday is TBA.
Triple new episodes of NCIS: Los Angeles on the Saturday.
And no mention of Australia v France football friendly on July 14 on 10 Bold, the last warm-up game for both teams before FIFA Women’s World Cup.
I think it’s related to the one-week postponement of MasterChef Australia, following the death of Jock Zonfrillo.
The original plan was to have MasterChef finals week on July 2-6 with the grand final on Tuesday July 11, the night before State of Origin game three. However, the postponement means the finals week has to be split in two to avoid SOO and also the debut of Dogs Behaving (Very) Badly Australia on July 13.
I now think the MC finale will now be shown on Wednesday July 19, thus the need to air double episodes of Riptide on July 12.
I don’t think this explains the erratic scheduling of Riptide and So Help Me Todd though.
It makes no sense to have a double episode of SHMT last week which delayed the premiere of Riptide but then they have to show a double at the end. If they were avoiding Riptide screening up against the State of Origin last week, then why is it alright to screen the last two episodes against the next State of Origin?
As I said before. Riptide should have started last week and screened for four weeks at 8.40pm. So Help Me Todd should have screened at 9.40pm every week since the premiere.

It won’t, will probably be 52-58 mins in length, just the way they’ve decided to schedule to the public. They used to do that with The Late Show, not sure why they aren’t still doing it that way. The networks seem unable to schedule Home Shopping off the 30 minute timeslot, probably because it is paid programming and they probably technically pay for the 30 minute slot.
