If anyone was disheartened that Ten didn’t have coverage of the wedding last night, they certainly nade up for it tonight. The first block (12 minutes) was dedicated to it.
Why are we showing a brisbane city background of a national weather report? They dont put sydney in for the news background.

I understand that but it should be kept generic on a national bulletin. You dont see that coming from a seven or nine national bulletin.
It saves him having to fly to Sydney to do the weather, it saves them having to fire up a studio in Brisbane just for him to stand in front of a green screen and they can just use a camera crew they already have on stand by.
Brisbane is still part of Australia, it’s still relevant to the segment he’s in… the information is just as accurate and the background isn’t relevant - I really don’t see it as a problem.
At least no one can accuse them of having Sydney bias.

Who cares. Not everyone would have known it was from Brisbane… to me it looks like a generic skyline - it’s a national bulletin and he was presenting national weather. Not like he was banging in about some localism.
Ten have bigger issues. I find it good they aren’t wasting money on flights for a 5 minute segment

As a Perth viewer i do care. It makes it look even more obvious that it is a 2 hour old bulletin!

Don’t understand how, as no mater where he is it makes no difference due to the time difference in Perth. The bulletin will still be old.
But anyway, moving on.
