By now, I think we should all know that âTen Eyewitness News: First At Fiveâ is how the network actually brands their news service as because full bulletins are rarely aired outside the 5pm hour!

We in Adelaide got it (live) at 5:30. The EPG for Perth listed it at its regular 5pm slot.

Last nights ratings were on par with other Saturday news ratings. Still way behind seven and nine in melb and Sydney but still made no difference to audience share so really nothing lost nothing gained.

Damage to the News brand and reputation. Rating a third of Seven and Nine News despite the supposedly better lead-in must hurt. Not following through tonight will turn off more potential viewers. A shambles.
Not on tonight though, low rating Family Feud instead.

With all respect iâm sorry but regardless of a lead in or not you cant just expect instantly that a bulletin will rate high at a click of a finger and out rate Seven or Nine . You need years of stability at the same time so you can build a large viewer base and at the moment I think thats what Ten should be doing rather than chopping and changing things like we want them to. Seven and Nine have had years broadcasting there service at 6pm⌠Everyone on this thread goes ballistics when Ten doesnât even air news at all⌠as @mirb said, least they actually went to the effort for onceâŚ

News started at 5.45pm tonight due to Bathurst running into overtime.
Wonder where Brisbane will get the extra 15 minutes of The Project from.
Is tonightâs bulletin pre-recorded? If so it will not include the Bathurst race results.

Still no sport on the news in Brisbane, so perhaps Ten will start The Project late to match its start time in NSW and Vic; making it a one hour bulletin.
