Maybe they should try figurines of Australian animals as an extension of the Australian animal cards they had a few years back.
This store has been around for a few years, the guy that first published the accusation comes across as a little loopy but clearly he was onto something.
Yes he was onto something, though it was his hatred of Capilano part owner Kerry Stokes that led his campaign, I think.
He was in prison late last year for four months for contempt of court in relation to Seven, and he is currently in prison for the next thirteen months for contempt of court in relation to another matter.
maybe they can all stop manufacturing crappy plastic that will mostly end up in landfill #killjoy
True. Fair enough.
Iâve been really conscious of that fact and make the effort not to buy anything that is not a necessity. Try not buy any toys or novelties which I may have, in the past.
Hereâs an idea. Why donât they just drop the idea of mini versions of their product, maybe stock merchandise from EVERY NRL and AFL team (including Knights and Swans, thank you very much - the other NRL teams can f**k right off) whenever they do footy themes, and actually provide value in their products.
FFS. The season is getting longer every year. These retailers have turned Christmas into something to be dreaded.
Whatâs the quality difference between a $2 pudding and a $3 one?
Going back through this thread, Christmas stock was apparently on Colesâ shelves in Late August last year.
Wouldnât surprise me if just like how Hot Cross Buns are on the shelves as early as Boxing Day, theyâve done it annually for many years if not decades.
Unfortunately, I can think of plenty of other reasons to dread Christmas these days but Iâll be kind enough to spare everyone a rantâŚ
$1
I always look forward to the âit gets earlier every yearâ complaints in the first week of September (Christmas) and on Boxing Day (Easter).
The respective âvisitor postsâ on the Woolies and Coles Facebook pages should provide some nice A N G E R Y. R E A C T S today
I was at Myer at Westfield Marion this morning & they were already putting up Christmas decorations.
I guess they missed seeing all the Christmas goodies on sale in June and July for Christmas in July. The first Christmas stuff was on sale in June.
Of all things though, a $3 Christmas pudding. People will put that aside for four months? I could almost understand a Rays pudding or a ham, something with a decent value. But a $3 supermarket brand pudding?
Ten Daily is onto it
Christmas stuff usually comes out after Fatherâs Day, but this year Coles, at least, had puddings and mince pies the week before Fatherâs Day.
Isnt it more about enjoying the food in the lead up to Christmas?
I have neighbors from Zambia. They send hampers back home every year and they need to send them by mid september for them to get there by dec 25
So Woolworths Zambia, which is owned by Woolworths South Africa who also own David Jones, doesnât have a reasonable variety of products??
