Were there protesters again this morning?
A quick and easy solution would be to leave the cameras running during the evening and play the clips in reverse, set up a green screen and use that as a backdrop if the protestors turn up again.
No thank goodness, even though they persisted with presenting from the set on the beach at Broadbeach this morning. Kochie & Sam made a quip at the end of the show about how much of a peaceful show it was this morning tooâŚ

I get what youâre suggesting but it might look a bit strange having the waves rolling backwards, not to mention people, birds etc all walking/flying backwards!

Blur the background a bit have it out of focus a bit and edit a bit and get it so parts run foreward,
Or recored another part of the beach and use a tempory background
Sure. Fly everyone to a location then fake the background. Sounds very Frontline.

Set-up this Friday:
Sam and Kochie seem to be coming from a balcony along the beach, without the desk.
Nat has be moved to a makeshift studio.
Beretts is live in Carrara in the stadium.

They could be dismantling the set, given this is the last day they will be presenting from the Gold Coast for the Commonwealth Games. Perhaps Weekend Sunrise will be presenting elsewhere or back at Brekky Central this weekend.
Other things to note, this was Eddyâs last day on Sunrise for several weeks before she gets married. Also Sunrise finished earlier this morning at 9:00 AEST, actually on time this morning. There were no 9:00 news headlines and as a result, there was no Perth news either. Commonwealth Games coverage started earlier again to cover more highlights before live action begins.

Why would you dismantle the set before the end of the Games? Does not make sense.
It looks like theyâre making the hosts mobile so they are not affected by protesters. Apparently they had turned up again today to protest but were frustrated to discover the hosts werenât there.

They were there before 5:30am when the show started? How could the crew have known they would be there last night to plan the show this way? Gee, these protestors really mustnât have a lifeâŚ
