They do look good! I only just made it to the computer in time to grab a cap before the titlecard. Unfortunately I missed where the headline graphic is larger and reveals in the middle of screen. This will have to do for now

Very nice! Would be good to see a similar style adapted to the lower thirds throughout the show!
Am I the only one who finds these sorts of headlines really… untidy and ugly? Not just Sunrise, but on any breakfast show which uses them.

Yes, they’re all too big and ugly. However, these are much better than what we just had. They need to change the other graphics too which take up one third of the screen (with mostly white background).

The transitions are ridiculously similar to those on Today, right???
They should have the full headline next to the Sunrise logo instead of the split-headline which doesn’t look right.

Yeah they’re really tacky, unoriginal and off-putting. They’re something I would expect from TT & ACA. They’re probably so off putting I would consider watching News Breakfast.

We’re saying it’s an improvement but it could still be better.
Meanwhile they still they still haven’t changed the music. It’s something that belongs elsewhere but Sunrise when your reporting on serious news

Use their previous theme music from 2010-2015, or the one they use for special coverage like the one used for the Dreamworld Tragedy. It would suit the opener very well IMO.

Very nice, maybe there will be a refresh in the works as the textures and colours look different?
I really like them. Fresh, modern and simple and it reflects Seven News graphics as well. I though would have liked smaller supers to go with the new headline package.

But seriously, how many people do you think will watch more than say 20 mins of brekky TV? The graphics inform me of what’s going on - I don’t think I ever sit down and solely watch them, I’m always half listening, doing other stuff so it’s really essential imo.

You weren’t. It’s the graphics that are out of hand.
Was watching Weekend Sunrise when they were discussing ad campaigns linked to Mardi Gras last weekend. They showed a Holden ad with an image of a ute parked below the harbour bridge. The promo showed the ute with a revolving rainbow flag colour on it.
The graphics covered up more than half the ute. So stupid. By the time someone reacted to it and removed the graphics, the segment was almost over. 
This is why the graphics at the bottom of the screen are shit. They should be smaller. Pop up for a few seconds and then disappear.
