As much as we give Sunrise credit for familiarity with the hosts over summer, this is not a great morning to have three non-regulars on (Tarsh, Hugh and Teegan).

As has been discussed on this and the Today thread, viewers like familiarity and routine.
To not have at least one of Mon, Woi, Eddy or Sally rostered on this morning is poor planning IMO.

It’s not too bad. Tarsh has been filling in on WS for many years now and viewers know Hugh and Teegan from their respective correspondent roles on the show. It’s not like they’re complete unknowns.

Belling is well known, she’s been around for 30 years and was a prominent figure at Ten for much of that.
Whitfeld has been at Seven for well over a decade, a lot of that time as Europe Bureau Chief and lead a lot of major events/rolling coverage and is widely respected, he’d be well recognised by viewers.
And Dolling goes back to regional TV at Prime Local News in Albury/Wodonga and has been at HSV and then Sunrise for years now, again should be at least recognised.

Why in a 90s Rewind why does the Calendar say 2001? - would have thought that would have been an easy thing to get right.
