Fun in the studio with the wheel “Who Hairs Wins”. JT at Randwick. Sunrise did mention Derby Day in the sport discussion.

Nats Levi is not a good choice for Brisbane weekend reporter. She’s not great on screen. And yesterday when reporting on Qld weather, she described Bargara as “near Hervey Bay” .. no, it’s near Bundaberg!. Only about 100km difference.

I’ll guess the trees will be up on December 1st as with every year

Looks shocking, from the choice of backdrop used on the screen, the green strip lighting, also what a terrible wide angle which makes the studio look so bare and cold.
Truly awful.

Such a bad shot, showing the dinky little cheap wall like that. Frame it so you see the desk and soft set or just the hideous standup/performance area. Not all at once.

For such a large studio space, its so badly designed

It’s so depressing and so dark
More plants, more breakfast items, please ![]()
The set does not look homey; it feels cold and sterile. I get it’s a news show, but surely it’s not that hard to make it feel more welcoming

One thing Australian Breakfast TV knows how to do is design their sets to make it looked sad and uninviting.

It looks dull. There’s no sophistication.

2 typos on the straps in 2 consecutive news stories at 5.30. “Knighted” instead of “knighthood” in the story about David Beckham, and the second line incomplete in the story about Andrew, formerly Prince Andrew.

Me fail English that’s unpossible…
Looks like the byline about the street rename didn’t have enough room, even when it was squished at 80% width.
