I don’t think they’ve ever made it known one way or another. I remember watching Weekend Sunrise once and they played a video of a shirtless celebrity. It might have been Justin Bieber. They mentioned that he would be very appealing to a lot women and some men.
I think Sally Bowrey asked Monique if she thought he looked good and she thought he did. Then she asked David if he thought he looked good and David changed the subject. I assumed that meant he was gay but didn’t want to engage in the conversation and make it about him.
It should be up to him if he wants to out himself and not anyone else. Many TV presenters have had to live without letting people know that they are gay. As if they did they may lose their job as society didn’t like seeing a gay person presenting the 6pm news. At least now people are a lot more accepting.
There was lots of innuendo, particularly from Monique, when Woiwood had pink eye on his first weekend or so presenting weekend sunrise. It was very funny.
