Sally Bowrey has moved around the desk and is presenting the news in addition to her Entertainment role. Simon is doing sport and weather. James is away today as he is attending a wedding.
Sunday 28.02.16:
Sally Bowrey is still reading both news and entertainment. James return to the weather and continued the Sunrie tradition of appearing at a nude event. He mentioned last time HE was at one, it was pre-recorded ,but this time it was live, and with a few mishaps.
Now that’s commitment!
Simon and James have switched roles??
Edit: Oh, I see now. Mate, your wording is truely awful. It reads as Simon is doing weather and James is doing sport from a wedding.

The show has improved but those graphics on the white banner are still hideous and distracting. That shade of blue for the headline is just horrid. And that tinge of blue on white on the left just looks off.
I wish they’d change that banner to a light shade of blue with white print and hide it completely away more often. Otherwise emulate the darker blue used by The Morning Show and get rid of the blue tinge on white.

Has the Sunrise road trip - starting tomorrow - been advertised before besides the tweet the Sunrise account and Michael Pell just sent out?
This road trip looks a bit bizarre…Making changes to the set already?
Promo that aired during MKR tonight doesn’t mention tomorrow’s road trip.Promo was about record breaking $80,000 Cashcow giveaway tomorrow.
I think I’ve seen a couple of promos for Sunrise over the weekend. One for the Cash Cow Competition and another highlighting many of the celebrity guests (although unsurprisingly, not a mention of the now infamous Kristin Davis thing) that have been on the show in recent years. Not sure if there have been any others.

I think it is more about getting out there are reconnecting with the audience directly. If that is successful then the set won’t matter. I suspect no changes to the set, Morning Show will no doubt continue to use it.

They actually did include her in the Melbourne version of the promo even after the controversy, though it very quickly disappeared not long after…

How can they afford to keep giving away all this cash? Must have been a few million over the last year, I’m guessing the thinking is if they stop the cash grabs ratings will slide?
But tomorrow is Brisbane?!
Sunrise and Today had the same average number of viewers last week. Today won Sydney and Melbourne and Sunrise the others.

[/quote] Yes sorry. I accidentally watched the promo from the Friday 19th February where they were live from HSV. Tomorrow is Brisbane, then the Gold Coast on Tuesday, Blue Mountains on Wednesday, Home and Away Summer Bay on Thursday and Melbourne on Friday.[quote=“TV.Cynic, post:726, topic:69, full:true”]

Doesn’t the ‘Cash Cow’ and Today’s ‘Block of Cash’ mostly pay for themselves through people paying 55 cents per call and texts every time they enter?

A couple of million to bribe viewers to watch… verses a $100 million in advertising revenue…
Perhaps they want to see if the slide in ratings is due to the new set so they are going on the road to see what the ratings are like without it.
