Nine picked up share thanks to the first part of the Ninja Grand Final. Seven was steady but its main channel improved while ABC, 10 and SBS slipped slightly.

Nine won all markets except Perth that was won by Seven. The Ninja’s posted a season high for an easy win in the 7pm timeslot, up 200k from the previous week. The Farmers were up slightly. Bachelor in Paradise finished with 417,000 plus 480,000 for the Commitment Ceremony. That compares to 453,000 for the whole program in May 2019.

Vera continues to do well for ABC with a season high near 700,000 while Shetland was over 600k. Seven’s Anita Colby news special repeat managed to do slightly better than Between Tow Worlds at 8:30 but ranked well behind 60 Minutes that had +600k.

Good figures for Ninja Warrior. Farmer continues to be solid for 7 even coming in second in the 25-54 demo. Bachelor in Paradise sticks to the same figure it has all season. It hasn’t been great in total people but its demos and online viewership has been great for 10. It should definitely return for season 4 but needs to be given an 8:30 slot.

Ninja Warrior is following the trajectory of last season: starting with an audience of 1 million plus, falling below 900,000, before rebounding to above 1 million for the grand final.
Between Two Worlds dropped even further with the 10pm start.

Between Two Worlds, not surprising lost over 100,000 viewers to rank 34th

Great result for NRL on Foxtel.

Looking at the numbers, it’s no wonder why fans prefer to watch Foxtel over Nine when they show the same match live.

10’s Target 16-39 & 18-49 Demographics with Bachelor in Paradise Finale did well as they would’t watch the Older Skewing ABC in that Timeslot with their British Shows.

Looks like Seven News Melbourne managed to win the night, and Seven News Brisbane takes the lead after been beaten by Nine the past two days.

Stupid move by Seven to a later slot since the Seven News special didn’t do much better than Between Two Worlds last week.

The show has been bagged but nevertheless, you have to give shows more than two weeks to prove themselves. Even the massive hit Blue Heelers, struggled at the start.

Completely agree. We need to respect and give our local products more time that that.

Agree - quite pleased to see Seven News special tank this morning - they should’ve just shown some respect and patience for Between Two Worlds and see if it could stablise or potentially slowly improve.

As a result, i tuned out of FTA last night and watched a film on Stan.

7 would have to be happy with FWAW, beating BiP GF in 25-54.

it was a mistake bumping Between Two Worlds, even if it wasn’t rating well. isnt it only a short 6 eps or something? should have just stuck it out. The reputational damage for launching new dramas now will be more damaging than a having a few thousand viewers less in a few slots.

It’s also no wonder when Nine has an appalling track record of rugby league coverage over many years.

Anyway, back to last night’s ratings and Nine will be pretty happy at those results for the Ninja Warrior Grand Finale - especially since it smashed the competition in the East Coast capitals.

Bachelor in Paradise Grand Finale figures seem a bit flat, but maybe that’s the sort of show which enjoys success via consolidated and catch-up ratings.

Ninja Warrior is doing very well. I’ve even got into it a little bit this year unlike previous years. It’s good that it’s a bit different to the usual reality shows. I reckon tonight’s finale is going to be big given someone “apparently” climbs Mt Midoriyama (according to the promos, not a spoiler). Ten might have been better off waiting till tomorrow to launch The Masked Singer.

Ninja did just as expected from a grand final episode. It will be interesting to see how things play out tonight with Masked Singer and Ninja Finale. Ninja will probably still do well but wouldn’t be surprised if The Masked Singer wins the demos.

Farmer Wants a Wife is still doing well for Seven, even beating Bachelor in Paradise in 25-54. Guess we can expect this to be renewed for next year.

Its been renewed. They were calling for new farmers during the show last night.
