Nine again got off to a good start to the week with a dominant Sunday rating share. Seven was down slightly while 10 posted a 1 point increase. Nine won all markets except Perth that was won by Seven while 10 ranked second in Melbourne. Nine won 25-54 and 10 won 16-39. Seven was third in both.

Nine won all timeslots across the night with Nine News having a rare win

The Voice and MasterChef were again close, both posting increases from the previous Sunday. The Voice was up 20,000 to a season high while MasterChef was up 40,000 to its best Sunday number for four weeks. Two episodes of House Rules were less successful than the previous double episode Sunday with the show losing 70,000 from the previous week. MasterChef won across all key advertising demo groups.

The Sunday Project continues to post higher than usual numbers espeically in the younger demos. While the debut of Operation Buffalo did well for ABC.

The late finish to the NRL clash between Penrith and Newcastle didn’t provide much boost to Nine News in Sydney. Seven News had an easy win in Brisbane after trailing Nine News in the city on weeknights.

60 Minutes just does great work later at night for 9.

Very good win in the demos. You wonder if advertisers would be preferring it over The Voice. This is where 10 suffers as their ratings do not equate to revenue because of the perceived toxicity of the network as a whole. Perth seem to hate Masterchef as much as they hate 9.

Why is House Rules split into two? Was it the finale?

MasterChef continuing to perform very well on Sunday’s considering it has been the weakest night for the show the last few years. It’s easily winning against The Voice in demos too.

I’m predicting next week Big Brother to pull similar numbers to House Rules. There will be some interest but The Voice and MasterChef now have established audiences. There’s little left for the Seven realities.

Fantastic demographic results for 10 with MasterChef against Nine on a Sunday, even way in front of the coveted 25-54s!

ABC should be pleased with the debut result of the new comedy-drama.

The Simpsons disappeared from the multi-channel key demos (7flix seems to struggle most on Sundays), but umpteenth re-run of The Day After Tomorrow made-up for it topping 25-54s with 78k.

@TV.Cynic
What was the Ratings for the NRL Sunday Afeternnon game on Nine? Can I know, cheers thanks…

9 News Adelaide seems to be performing very well lately, wonder why? Do Adelaide viewers prefer 2 presenters?

I mention it every week but 119k gap for Nine News Melbourne again. The gap seems to be growing slowly every week. That is huge.

It was two episodes. First episode at 7pm was the conclusion of renovation of Kimmy’s home in Launceston. Second episode just after 8.30pm was the homeowners reveal.
The finale is next Sunday.

Way to fizz out the season by having a week between episodes until the finale and putting it on a Sunday in the middle of a long weekend. I know they are thinking it’s the way to go to launch into Big Brother on Monday but I think it’s a terrible decision.

House Rules is Sunday - Wed this week.

It ranked 21st just below 10 News. But that was just Sydney + Brisbane. If the 9Gem audience was added it would have ranked 18th with approx 300k. These are prelim numbers though due to the over-run.

Also outside the top 20 was Why Can 't We Sleep that managed just 30th place.

That’s a great ranking result for NRL on Nine in the afternoon…!

Got what it deserved.

Seven needs an investigative journalism show back ASAP. These cheap stuff is pathetic against their competition.

Seems like they’ve been making mostly wrong decisions with their programs as of late.

Holey moley, some surprising figures.
As @Nicholas mentions, huge gap between Seven and Nine, Seven trailing hugely.
And Adelaide - Seven and Nine have tied, with Nine not having such good figures for a while!

Also note that like Saturday, Seven News Brisbane records a win

Interesting that Seven beat Nine in regional markets last night (considering NRL and Nine News in NSW). Seven always seem to do well in regional what rates poor in metro. Source: MW Morning Report.

But with NRL outside of primetime it would have had minimal impact on the shares. The Voice did have a narrow victory over House Rule regionally though. Seven affiliates won regionally largely because of Seven News’s dominance.
