Data © OzTAM Pty Limited 2021. The Data may not be reproduced, published or communicated (electronically or in hard copy) in whole or in part, without the prior written consent of OzTAM. “Overnight” figures include “Live” (programs broadcast during the 2am-2am broadcast day) and “As Live” (programs recorded and then watched within the same broadcast day). “Consolidated” figures include Live, As Live and “Time Shift” (programs recorded and then watched within seven days of the initial broadcast).

The first Sunday of the “non-rating Easter” period saw Nine record its highest Sunday share of 2021. 10 also improved to its best Sunday in 6 weeks. That saw Seven down 5 points to its lowest Sunday of the year while ABC slipped slightly as well.

Married At First Sight was even with the previous wee while The Amazing Race finished on a high with 702,000 (confirmed times) watching the finish of the competition. That compared to the 2019 season that had 620,000 and 739,000.

Nine’s cyber attack has some negative impact on Nine’s News numbers in Sydney and Brisbane while Sunrise with no breakfast competition recorded its highest audience of the year.

Seven’s post 7pm line-up bombed.

You know that Seven’s situation is bad when their dual bulletin destroyed Seven News Sydney.

20k lead in Adelaide too. Looks like that Sunday gap is widening slowly.

That’s a good finish to this season of The Amazing Race Australia.

Seven’s line-up was decimated post-7pm. The only saving grace was the Melbourne bulletin which edged out Nine News thanks to the thrilling finish to the AFL.

Prelim ratings, but Nine’s Late News didnt air. So numbers will be adjusted.

No surprises that Sunrise rated highly.

Despite the cyber attack yesterday, Nine won over Seven by a big margin.
The start of Easter ratings Saw MAFS continue to be he number 1 show of the night.
Close ratings between Nine News and Seven News in Melbourne. Seven News just beat Nine News by a slim margin.

Weekend Breakfast isn’t considered worthy enough to be competition?

Is this the seperated “R” code for something? Russia-related maybe?

Great work Alicia and team 575,000 :joy:

So need for separate bulletins in different cities and doesn’t really matter who the newsreader is?

I’m honestly not sure whether to laugh or cry at the fact Alicia Loxley on Nine’s combined South East bulletin outrated Mark Ferguson in Sydney last night by nearly 50k…

Viewers can accept it as a one-off but if they ran combined bulletins like this regularly viewers would drop off quickly.

Depends on whether you’re a Seven or Nine fanboy, doesn’t it?

To be fair, Nine had the NRL lead in meaning they were most likely always going to win the Sydney market, and the average viewer in Sydney might not have even known that a cyber attack occurred causing a combined bulletin, and by the time they heard about it 7-8 mins into the news, they’re not just going to change over to Seven News Sydney when they’re already with Nine.

I think there would’ve been interest from viewers who’d heard about the problems on radio or saw the news sites throughout the day. You’ll always get rubbernecks gawking at the car crash. I watched but I felt the need to see Seven’s bulletin after it to discover what Sydney news the Nine bulletin missed.

Didn’t Weekend Breakfast win the other week?

Seven would be regretting stripping Holey Moley early this year and commissioning Ultimate Tag. It was always going to lead to them running dead for a number of weeks when they made those woeful decisions.

If they had planned out their schedule better with Big Brother and Holey Moley airing together they’d be having a much better time than the current mess of a schedule they’re running.

It doesn’t get tiring, even when you’ve mentioned it for the 50 millionth time.
